Hello,
I can't imagine that none of the older posts is helpful :) Anyway, if
Matlab complains it is out of memory, then out of memory it is. The
question is, why. Among the reasons you might want to check are
- are you using a 64 bit OS? Older, native 32-bit applications only use
3.2GB of your memory no matter how much you have
- are you using a 64 bit Matlab?
- how much other stuff are you doing in the background? Can you verify
that memory is indeed going down during processing?
- how large is the timeseries you are feeding into spm? Very long
resting state timeseries with a high resolution require quite a bit of
memory.
- is Matlab reading the data format correctly?
- at what step are you getting the error message, realign estimate,
unwarping, or reslice?
- are you using the most recent version of SPM8? Is the error occurring
on other computers as well, or with other timeseries?
Hope this gets you started,
Marko
