We have recently advertised a studentship under the general heading of 'History of Welfare and Community Change'. The topic should be of interest to anyone who is interested in the history of social welfare, the relationship between welfare community, or in the history of either mutual aid or voluntary action. The studentship will be based at the University of Strathclyde and being offered in conjunction with the 'Connected Communities - Imagine' Consortium, which is being led by Professor Graham Crow of the University of Edinburgh.
