Hi All,
I can't believe I'm the first person to mention this on this list (so will presume not!) but I've just heard about Google Open Gallery, which gives free tools for artists, museums, archives and galleries to create galleries. You can request an invite here: http://www.google.com/opengallery
More about the initiative here: http://thenextweb.com/google/2013/12/10/google-launches-open-gallery-help-museum-gallery-create-online-exhibits/#!px1eH
Pretty fascinating to see how/if this takes off and how Google is approaching this from an 'open' and technological perspective (how it might work with aggregators like Europeana for example) But I can see a real demand in many smaller institutions. Interesting to consider the implications.
Best,
Joy
