Developing leadership practice:
Using lived experience to influence change
Are you involving service users, carers or patients in improving health and social care services or community activities? Do you want to enhance the impact of their work in your service?
This programme of three workshops will provide a space for people to reflect on leadership and the complexity of the expert by experience role. These sessions will develop confidence, new thinking and practices to enhance the contribution of service user and carer involvement in bringing about real change within health and social care services. This opportunity is for people already working as experts by experience. We are offering this new programme to all organisations which seek genuine involvement and invest in their skill development for maximum impact on service development.
These workshops will be run as KNOWLEDGE CAFÉS – this involves a facilitated process of participatory learning through creative conversations about issues that matter to those involved.
