The last few days have seen three great examples of disabled people fighting back against cuts.
Equal Lives (Disability Norfolk) http://www.equallives.org.uk/ has made a video as their response to Norfolk County Council's consultation on cuts to social care. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKn7OwkhUJ4
Wearespartacus.org have published The People’s Review of the WCA – Further Evidence which "aims to give a voice to those whose lives have been devastated by the impact of the [Work Capability] assessment on their physical and mental health and financial security".

And the Centre for Welfare Reform has published Kaliya Franklin's comprehensive analysis of how - despite consistent denials by ministers – outcomes for sick and disabled ESA claimants are governed, to some extent at least, by a system of “norms”. In practice these norms behave as quotas, ensuring that no more than a certain percentage of claimants are eligible for Employment and Support Allowance. http://www.centreforwelfarereform.org/library/by-date/how-norms-become-targets.html
