This is not research, but I would appreciate your help before midnight Tuesday. Another year has gone by and I am still helping people with speech disabilities to use the telephone. This is my eighth year (following my 30 year retirement from the government) as the full time, pro bono CEO of Communications Assistance by Telephone (501c3), the national consumer organization for Speech-to-Speech*.

which informs people about our vital work. Please put the URL on your Facebook page and/or send it to people who might be interested. Feel free to change the language. You can donate at: http://www.speechtospeech.org/ by clicking on the donate buttons at the top or bottom of the home page. Your donation is greatly appreciated by many of us with speech disabilities. Your donation makes possible our mission to help such people learn about technology that enables them to communicate with the outside world; something most people take for granted.
While we appreciate donations, it’s important to make more people with speech disabilities aware of this free technology. We are building awareness by asking donors to please forward the YouTube URL to people who might be interested. Would you do that please?

Happy New Year!

Sorry to see that unless you have you have access to Uni libraries you will have to pay £24 to read the article thus preventing the majority of elderly disabled from reading your thoughts on this important subject.
