Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit a paper for
the *3rd **Workshop on Europe-China Relations in Global Politics* which
will take place at Sun Yat-sen University in the city of *Guangzhou *in
south China, on *13-14 March 2014*.
The theme will be * “Regional Integration in Asia and Europe”.*
The Workshop takes place in the framework of the *UACES Collaborative
Research Network on EU-China Relations*, which is coordinated by Frauke
Austermann (ESSCA / FU Berlin), Jing Men (College of Europe) and Wei
Shen (ESSCA).
Contributions related to the following thematic panels are most welcome:
1) A German Europe, a Chinese Asia? Leadership of Regional Integration
in Asia and Europe
2) Regional Integration in Asia and Europe and the Role of the US
3) Overcoming the Crisis: Economic and Business Prospects in the course
of Regional Integration in Asia and Europe
4) From Borders to Bridges or Vice Versa? Regional Integration,
Peripheral Countries, and Sub-State Actors
The working language is English.
Please send your* paper proposal *of not more than 400 words *until

We will confirm your participation by Friday, 27 December 2013.
The final paper should not exceed 6,000 words (excluding bibliography).
An electronic version of the paper is due by Friday, 28 February 2014.
