A position for a Research Associate is available within the HIV Epidemiology and Biostatistics Group within the Department of Infection and Population Health, University College London. The postholder will be based in the Royal Free Hospital, and will be involved in simulation modelling and analysis of data from large observational studies of HIV.
Grade: 7
Hours per week (%FTE): 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)
Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £32,375 - £39,132 per annum
The post is funded until 31 Jan 2016 in the first instance.
The applicant will have a PhD, experience in management, analysis and interpretation of data from large observational studies, a documented extensive existing research interest in HIV, and experience of leading own research projects and supporting others, from design to publication. Some experience with individual level simulation modelling would be an advantage.
