RESEARCHER IN STATISTICS AND EPIDEMIOLOGY
National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU), Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford
Grade 7: £29,541 - £36,298 p.a. (pro rata for part-time: 1% pay award pending)
Applications are invited for this full or part-time (60% FTE minimum) post of Researcher in Statistics and Epidemiology. This post is funded by the Department of Health until 31 December 2015 and is based in the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit at the University of Oxford.
We are looking for a self-motivated statistician or epidemiologist with the strong analytic/statistical skills needed to successfully design, conduct and write-up research projects involving complex epidemiological datasets. You will need to enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced research environment, and have an interest in research that seeks to improve the care provided to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, the newborn period and early childhood as well as promoting the effective use of resources by perinatal health services.
