A member of Scientists for Global Responsibility has admitted to being reluctant to sign this petition on the grounds that "if the issue is about GM and the BBC follows its usual pattern, the scientist on the panel is very likely to be pro-GM, with an inadequate response from anyone else." I don't altogether share this concern, although I am also a member of SGR.
