The ESRC International Centre for Lifecourse Studies in Society and Health (ICLS) based at UCL is recruiting 3 PhD students. See http://bit.ly/1i1eICs
ICLS students apply social epidemiological perspectives to the study of relationships between social, psychological and biological factors as they develop over the life course and how they contribute to health, disease and wellbeing. Students will use quantitative techniques to conduct secondary analysis of longitudinal birth cohort and panel studies.
Closing date for application: 31 Jan 2014
ICLS is located in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, much of whose work focuses on health inequalities and the social determinants of health, with world-leading research across a variety of disciplines.
Information about these and other studentships will be available from the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health PhD Open Day on 9 January 2014 See: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/epidemiology/teachingandcourses/openafternoon
