I can see a clear advantage to using web technologies for exhibition presentations.
* you can create once and use many times.
* what you create can be presented to any device capable of browsing a web site
* the standards are open
A WordPress powered exhibition could be used on an Intranet for your exhibition kiosks and the same data included on your website with minimal effort.
A WordPress powered exhibition could be accessible via in-house WiFi on mobile devices.
A WordPress powered exhibition could be made standalone and portable on a laptop/projector for field use.
Have I said too much Mike? - don’t want to steal your thunder, but I suspect we’re thinking along similar lines.
We’re also playing with WordPress and BLE ‘beacons’ but that *is* saying too much…
