HI Everyone,
Some really good news from the EPSRC today which may be of interest to
MCGers - we're really pleased to announce that UCL has been given funding
to lead an EPSRC <http://www.epsrc.ac.uk/Pages/default.aspx> funded Centre
for Doctoral Training in Science and Engineering in Arts, Heritage and
Archaeology. SEAHA is run in partnership between UCL, the University of
Brighton <http://www.brighton.ac.uk/> and the University of
Oxford<http://www.ox.ac.uk/>,
along with numerous cultural institutions and industry partners. It will
train 60 doctoral students, with additional studentships coming on stream,
over a period of eight years making it EPSRC’s single largest investment to
date in heritage science and engineering research.
For more information, please do see www.seaha.org. We're working with a
variety of industry partners, but will be looking for additional projects
and partnerships as we go...
best,
Melissa
