Hello all
We’re about to launch this:
http://courses.thirty8.co.uk/
The concept:
- online courses (most pitched at museums / nfp’s) which run over a period of 4-6 weeks
- they’d be charged, but the resources themselves would be CC. The worksheets for the Digital Strategy course for example are here:
http://bit.ly/19WMUYS
..so free to use, free to adapt, etc.
I’m punting it to the list to get your thoughts on whether the notion of doing courses entirely online sounds like a viable idea, a scary idea, a stupid idea or a good one. Oh, also, it might help me get off my arse and get the last few bits done if we’ve started telling people about it :-)
I’d also - I guess probably off-list, but happy to have the conversation in the open too - be really interested in knowing what price point would work for your institution. Have you done stuff like this before online? What worked? What didn’t? Why?
Would hugely welcome your ideas / thoughts / etc!
cheers
Mike
