I've seen and heard of small organisations using two networkable Drobo's to create an offsite backup. One Drobo acts as the main server with the second offsite backing up the primary server automatically, seems quite neat providing you actually have a second building, connection, etc. I have a Drobo and would recommend it for the dual disk redundancy they use, although this feature isn't enabled by default.
Then there is the cloud...
(I like Dropbox for the range of OS's supported, but I've not backed up anything with any personal data in it.)
