Hello everyone,
We've recently noticed loss of access to selected back issues of the Journal
of African and Asian Studies. The content moved from SAGE to Brill. The
information SAGE provides on their pages about the volumes now residing
under Brill's domain claims that we should have access to the volumes in
question as current SAGE Premier subscribers. However, we have now found out
that that Brill (although initially agreeing to provide 'free' access for
SAGE subscribers) have decided to charge for this content. Hence, we do not
have access.
Have any of you come across this situation with this same title and
publishers or another similar example? What were your actions? SAGE have
advised us to approach Brill about the situation but I am not convinced this
is right or what the next move should be.
Thank you
Satu
