Dear all,
Those of you interested in developments in open peer review, particularly in the humanities and social sciences, might like to know that today postmedieval, a journal of medieval cultural studies published by Palgrave Macmillan is launching the second phase of its online open crowd review project today on MediaCommons.
The journal, which is affiliated with the BABEL Working Group, will include a special issue edited by Louise D'Arcens (University of Wollongong), featuring six essays on Comic Medievalisms which have already been through one round of review, revised, and identified as fit for publication. The crowd review will run from Wednesday, November 6th to Sunday, December 15th 2013, and will enable anyone who would like to constructively review the work to do so, in an open and transparent way.
postmedieval are inviting input from multiple perspectives, amateur to professional, non-specialist to specialist.
