Dear Colleague,
EBSCO Information Services are once again proud to be partnering with UKSG and as an event sponsor, are looking forward to attending the Library Discovery Technologies Forum in London on Friday 15th November.
Putting the user at the centre of the 'search and find' experience, whether as an undergraduate, postgraduate or an academic member of staff is the defining principle which drives EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) forward.
In his presentation entitled EDS: Past, Present & Future, Steve Giannoni will share how EDS is truly regarded as a vendor-neutral, next generation discovery tool. Supported afterwards by presentations from Wendy Luker (Leeds Metropolitan University) and Chris Spencer (Bournemouth University) they will share their positive experiences of EDS which has contributed to improvements in the digital literacy of their patrons and increases in library resource usage at their respective institutions.
As part of our involvement in this exciting one-day event, we'll share the reasons why over 3,000 libraries worldwide regard EDS as the 'best-fit' for their user's needs.
If you wish to pre-arrange a meeting with Steve or simply wish to join us at our stand tomorrow during the event, we'd be delighted to see you. Steve can be contacted at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
Best regards
