We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our
forthcoming conference. This conference will mark the conclusion of an
18-month Leverhulme Trust-Isaac Newton Trust co-funded project (P.I. Dr
Helena Sanson) on the little-studied production of printed conduct
literature for and about women in Italy between the end of the fifteenth
century and the end of the nineteenth.
Conference speakers: Federica Boldrini, Inge Botteri, Adriana Chemello,
Beatrice Collina, Carmela Covato, Silvia Evangelisti, Ann Hallamore Caesar,
Lucy Hosker, Francesco Lucioli, Elena Musiani, Letizia Panizza, Tiziana
Plebani, Brian Richardson, Helena Sanson.

The conference is generously sponsored by the Department of Italian at
Cambridge University, the Italian Cultural Institute in London, the Society
for Italian Studies, and the Centre for Gender Studies at Cambridge
University.
An exhibition of conduct books held in Cambridge University Library will
take place between 17 February and 23 March 2014.

Full conference fee: £35
Reduced conference fee (students/PhD candidates/retired/unwaged): £20
The registration fee covers attendance at both days of the conference,
including lunches and refreshments.
A conference dinner will also be held on the evening of Thursday 20th March
at Clare College (Small Hall). If you wish to attend the dinner, this
should be purchased at an additional cost of £35 at the same conference
link.
Registration for the conference and for the dinner will close on 14 March
2014, as places are limited. Please note that the delegate fee and the
dinner fee are non-refundable.
