Dear all,
The Royal Astronomical Society is sponsoring a Daphne Jackson
Fellowship via the Daphne Jackson Trust. This is a two-year
part-time fellowship for a scientist who has had a career
break of two years or more for caring or health reasons.
The announcement is on the RAS webpage
www.ras.org.uk/awards-and-grants/fellowships
which has a link to the Daphne Jackson Trust webpage where
application instructions and details about eligibility
can be found. You need to be a UK resident with the
right to remain indefinitely in the UK. The fellowship
can be held at any UK university or research establishment.
The flyer sent to RAS Points of Contact says that the
eligible subject areas are "astronomy, solar-system
science, geophysics and closely related branches of
science".
DEADLINE for applications is 27th January 2014.
Sheila Peacock,
list co-owner.
