ESRC North West Doctoral Training Centre studentships
A collaboration between the Universities of Lancaster, Liverpool and Manchester
The ESRC NWDTC studentship competition for 2014 entry is open. We invite applications for studentships to be held at one of the above Universities, with options for co-supervision between the partner institutions.

Four pathways may be of particular interest to geographers:

Students will normally have been offered a place at one of the three NWDTC institutions on one of the programmes eligible for NWDTC funding prior to their Studentship Application to the NWDTC. Please apply for a place via these links:

Academic eligibility:
For all awards, candidates must have qualifications of the standard of a good undergraduate honours degree at first or upper second class level. For +2, +3 or +4 studentships, the student must also have a master’s degree.
