death of kitty is far more traumatic for a child than death of
grandparent (unless living with family).

I'm wanting a good introductory life-table that will work in a
museum-type environment, allowing key concepts to be introduced
It has to be 'concept-light' and well-motivated.
The standard life-tables are arguably
(a) too big (all these centenarians!)
(b) too morbid. (We don't want to talk to young kiddies about death)
A 'Life Table for Cats' has been suggested, but
* Where can I find one?
* is there a better suggestion? (I'd like some good consumerist
survival tables too)
Thanks for any ideas
JOHN BIBBY
BTW: Does anybody know a good elementary discussion of human lifetables
that I can refer to?
