My understanding is that ProQuest will continue to have back files of content up to 17th September 2013. The following is from ProQuest's customer e-mail of 8th May 2013:
Royal College of Nursing - content change
Full text content for the following RCN titles will no longer be available from ProQuest or any other aggregated resources following the publisher's decision to distribute solely via an e-journal subscription model.
Cancer Nursing Practice
Emergency Nurse
International History of Nursing Journal
Learning Disability Practice
Mental Health Practice
Nurse Researcher
Nursing Children and Young People
Nursing Management; Harrow-on-the-Hill
Nursing Older People
Nursing Standard
Primary Health Care
The change takes effect on 18th September 2013. ProQuest customers will continue to have access to all of the backfile of RCN journal content loaded until 17th September 2013.
The retained backfile remains cross-searchable with the 1,200 journals available in ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Source - alongside the wealth of nursing videos, dissertations, cultural competency reports and ebook content. The same access terms apply for customers with nursing content in other ProQuest resources such as British Nursing Index with Full Text and ProQuest Hospital Collection. RCN titles will continue to be indexed in British Nursing Index, ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Source and available in our discovery service Summon

Subject: Re: [lis-e-resources] RCN journals price hike
We only found out here about this from our subscription agent who alerted us to the price increases, so we've been looking at all the options available including OVID.
I notice that there's mention of the RCN content no longer being on ProQuest and Cengage. Does this only apply to the current years - will some backfiles remain with these aggregators? Also, does anyone know their position with EBSCO?
Regards
James
