The Department of Politics and Public Policy at De Montfort University is recruiting a lecturer in Public Policy as part of a 2020 initiative by the Vice-Chancellor. This early-career post is open to any candidate in the area of Public Policy (broadly defined) who is able to demonstrate how they would make a strong research and teaching contribution to the Department. Candidates are expected to have completed (or be on the point of completing) a Ph.D and to have demonstrated research potential through publications, as well as being able to provide a clear sense of research trajectory. The Department has a strong research focus and makes a major contribution to the Faculty of Business and Law as well as the University, and has a particularly strong track record of research income generation. Critical governance, urban crisis and austerity governance are currently key areas of interest for the department.
