The Institute of Gerontology in the Department for Social Science, Health & Medicine at King's College London invites applications for an 18 month Research Associate post funded by the Cross-Research Council Lifelong Health and Wellbeing Programme (LLHW) Extending Working Lives Consortia, commencing January 2014.

The project involves a comprehensive analysis of the lifecourse determinants and consequences of undertaking paid work in later life, especially beyond state pension age (SPA), with a particular focus on the impacts on health and income, across time and cohorts using a variety of large scale national datasets.
The post holder will be based at the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine which is home to the Institute of Gerontology at King’s College London (Strand Campus). Experience of longitudinal analysis is highly desirable.
The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Grade 6 scale, currently £31,331 to £37,382, per annum, plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum.
