Dear All,
I have been given a task by my organisation to establish how other organisations have approached medical records disposal. The risk assessments / considerations they took into account, and what level of risk they adopted when deleting. In particular this would be in regards to medical records that could one day be used for research purposes or perhaps the ongoing care of an individual who may have a recurring disease after the minimum retention period has lapsed. (I am aware of the rules for records that are already involved in clinical trails.)
If you can share your experiences please reply or send my a direct email.
Many thanks and kind regards
Jessica Robson
