Thank you.
Yes. I'm reaching out to such bodies as part of the voice introduction
project, but slowly, as it's something I do in my spare time. Any help
you (collectively) can offer in reaching out to likely subjects will
be much appreciated.
Professionally, I've been Wikipedian-in Residence with a number of
organisations (ARKive, Staffordshire Archives and Heritage, Lancashire
County Council Museums, New Art Gallery Walsall) and have worked with
others on related projects - I recently ran a Wikipedia editathon with
the Institution of Civil Engineers, for instance, and have also run
events with historians at Birmingham and Nottingham Universities and
the British Library.
Getting Wikipedia articles into good order (while being mindful of
Wikipedia polices) is a great way for professional bodies in science
and the arts, to ensure that the public are better informed in their
areas of interest. I'm happy to to discuss that work, or Wikipedia in
general, with anyone who's interested.
