Dear Colleagues
We are contributing to a HEFCE project led by CRAC, looking into the
information needs of PGT students. One important part of that is a survey
specifically aimed at students considering returning to PGT study after a
couple of years or more out of higher education - more details and a link to
the survey and prize draw are included in the forwarded email from CRAC
below this message.
We are hoping you may be able to help:
- if you are, or were a PGT student who returned to HE after at least two
years, it would be great If you could complete the survey (link in the
forwarded email below).
- if you are in a role where you are in contact with any individuals or
groups considering returning to PGT study after a break (eg including
alumni), or current PGT students who did return after a time away, it would
be really helpful if you could forward the survey email below on to them.
If you have any queries about the survey, please contact Robin
Mellors-Bourne at CRAC on [log in to unmask]
Best wishes and many thanks

Dear Student
A team led by the national careers charity CRAC is investigating how people
make decisions about taught postgraduate study (Masters, PGCE, PG Dip, PG
Cert, MBA etc) as part of research for the Higher Education Funding Council
for England and other funders.
An important part of this project is to find out more about the needs and
views of students returning to postgraduate study after two or more years
away from higher education. Please help us to help Universities provide the
information that students really need, by completing our survey. We'd like
to hear from you if you are returning to education after a period away and
have thought about, applied to or started on a postgraduate taught course.
Plese complete our survey at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/crac_info_needs_C
Completing the survey will take 10-12 minutes at most and as a thank you for
your time, when we receive your completed survey, and if you leave us your
contact details, we will enter you into a prize draw to receive one of two
Amazon vouchers each worth £250.
The survey is open until 17th October. All responses and information
supplied will remain confidential to CRAC; the report that we write will not
identify individuals.
Thank you, in advance, for your help with this important research. If you
have any queries about it, contact me at [log in to unmask]
Best wishes
