Evening ...
Can anyone direct me to the text which says that health records pertaining to Audio surveillance should be kept for 40 years?
All I can find in the Noise regs is that
"you should keep an up to date health record for each individual for the duration they are under health surveillance"
and paragraph 327 essentially says keep as long as they are employed but you may wish to keep for longer as enquiries may arise many years after they have left or exposure ceased.
It also advises that companies should give a copy of the health record to the individual- does anyone do that or do you leave it to the employer?
just to be clear--- I AM NOT ASKING ABOUT THE CLINICAL/MEDICAL RECORD (or pretty graphs)
This is the HEALTH RECORD i.e. paperwork we give to the employer.
