Hi Sarah - the place to go is the WHO Reproductive Health Libary. This Libary is a companion to Cochrane - same studies but in plain language. WWW.whorhl.org.

Subject: new RCT's which have not yet formed part of Cochrane database
Hello, I am new to this forum and would really appreciate some help. I am currently undertaking a masters module in evidenced based healthcare. I would like to undertake a mini systematic review on a midwifery related issue, but it needs to be a current issue which has not already been covered by the Cochrane database, or instead would update a previous review. I am struggling to find a couple of RCT's that meet this criteria which have not already been incorporated into Cochrane. Any help or advice would be very much welcomed.
The area of VTE prophylactic and compression stockings / lack of evidence / impact on women very much interests me - however, I'm finding a limited number of RCT's which cover midwifery topics in general!
Thanks,
Sarah
