Dear all,
My thoughts on this are, why not let them be searchable by Google? No
matter what we do, a lot of our users will use Google as part of their
research process and surely having reliable resources findable through
this method is no bad thing. As long as they are aware that these are
library resources and not "free" things. In a slightly different vein,
this is why I support a lot of work being done with Wikipedia to ensure
that all resources are accurate. People are going to use these sorts of
resources regardless of any training or cajoling from us as librarians.
Best wishes,
Georgina
