Many thanks for this. Is there a link to a single downloadable version? I'm trying to find information on accessibility issues but struggling to locate it - but it could be me struggling with the navigation.
I know our own work on the accessibility of ebook platforms has identified huge potential positives as well as huge risks.
On the positive side, accessible e-book platforms can save enormous time and money for disability support units. Creating an accessible version of a single textbook from scratch by scanning the hardcopy can cost up to £600 of staff time according to one HEI's figures. Having an accessible version as part of your mainstream offering means that money can be spent in far more useful and proactive learner support.
On the negative side it only needs one or two disgruntled disabled students to ask awkward questions about why you knowingly (or worse still, ignorantly) procure core resources with poor accessibility in defiance of the Equality Act's specific citation of accessible information as a "reasonable adjustment" and you could be facing a significant and embarrassing legal challenge.
I don't believe such issues would be absent from the report but I'd be grateful for help in finding them.
Many thanks
Alistair

There are some interesting infographics summarising themes around the
(intuitional-university) 'creation', 'curation' (management) and 'consumption' of ebooks on the Jisc 'Challenge of ebooks' website
http://ebookchallenge.org.uk/
If nothing else it's interesting to see infographics being increasingly used to present non statistical information. A QR code on the infographic leads back to the web site where users can drill down into the specific themes and get more information and references
There are also case studies around the same core themes. For example on the 'creation' theme one from a University Press and another on creating open ebooks from OER content
