Dear HiSoNistas,
We have been working for some time on a dedicated journal project for historical sociolinguistics. The people behind the journal are all strongholds of our network (as is the case for the recenctly launched publication series with Lang and Benjamins).
What we have in mind is a high profile peer-reviewed journal (A1-ranked) with a major international publisher. It should be the reference publication for new research in the domain of historical sociolinguistics, 2 issues per annual volume, available in print and in electronic form.
The project is about to be launched.
Given that subscribers to the HiSoN-list would be offered a reduced yearly subscription fee of 34 euros (instead of 99) for an online subscription to the journal (full access to the electronic version), would you be interested to subscribe?
Please reply to [log in to unmask] (not to the list).
Your reply obviously is no-strings-attached - we merely want to get an idea of the potential subscriber basis.
Thanks!
Wim
