LMCs and the BMA should be able to advise, there is no reason people
should have to stand alone on these issues.
The annual practice declaration apparently is part of the contract.
However it is not, to my knowledge, incorrect to "open" when accused
of being in breach of contract and any sanctions for breach of
contract should (prima facie) be proportionate.
Bottom line is consult LMC.
