Dear All,
I used fslstats to extract the total number of streamlines from my seed to target (seeds_to_target file from classification targets output), but I would like to find a way to account for the seed and target mask sizes that are different across subjects. I have seen some papers that used the total tract volume from the seed to the target to normalize the number of streamlines, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I have also seen the number of streamlines being weighted by dividing by the waytotal as an attempt to normalize, but I don't think that accounts for the target size.
What are some better ways to normalize the streamline counts?
Thanks for your help,
Zhong
