The Birmingham Centre for Translation is pleased to announce 'Books
without Borders: a Celebration of Literature in Translation'. This
event is part of the University of Birmingham's Book to the Future
literary festival, 24 - 29 October 2013, which will feature our
academic, student and local talent as well as well-known alumni
authors, poets, playwrights, journalists and scriptwriters.
Books without Borders willconsist of a roundtable discussion on the
future of translated literature with Clare Morrall, a widely
translated author, Alessandro Gallenzi, Managing Director of Alma
Books Ltd. and Libby Heighway, a University of Birmingham alumna and
literary translator.
