Dear Colleagues:
Since the CCP4 OS X installer package installs 64-bit binaries and libraries, and handles updates gracefully (and incrementally), there is no compelling reason to continue to have a fink installer package for ccp4, and several compelling reasons not to, so I have discontinued maintaining it. If you use fink and want it to set up your shell environment, I made a (highly optional) placeholder ccp4-setup package that installs very slightly modified versions of tcsh and bash/zsh -compatible initializations. The only significant differences are a set of customized command-line completions that work within zsh, setting $MOSFLM_WISH to /usr/bin/wish8.4 and $CCP4_BROWSER to “open” (the command “safari” doesn’t exist), all in response to user requests.
The fink packages for the LGPL ccp4 libraries remain, as does coot, etc.
