Dear All,

Please find attached the event flyer and call for papers for Trans*Action: Healthcare | Culture | Community - A conference for the trans* community and the helping professions.

The event will be held on the 5th, 6th & 7th of September 2014 at The University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.

Presented by The Barbara Ross Association, with support from Gender Identity Services Norfolk & Norfolk County Council, the conference is an opportunity for trans* people, academics and those in the supporting/medical professions to discuss issues of trans* healthcare, culture and community.

Since 2001 the conference has attracted leading care professionals, trans* activists, academics and researchers from across the globe as both speakers and delegates. The conference returns to the University of East Anglia in 2014 with a newly appointed steering group with aims of creating a diverse, multidisciplinary event for trans* people and anyone interested in trans* issues.

We will keep you up-to-date on the programme for the event and accommodation details etc, but for now we hope you will save this date for your diaries.
