HI
I don’t think there are any such pedometers that will be deemed food safe!
The only suggestion would be looking at a site exception for example keeping them in a suitable blue pouch inside clothing/ pocket with a rule they are not viewed in the food production areas.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Food industry friendly pedometers
Hi - I am trying to put together a proposal to increase fitness within the work place. I would like to do a pedometer challenge however we are concerned regarding using the pedometers in the meat factory environment. Any ideas would be welcome please. Has anyone done this in the food industry it seems as though technical are worried that the pedometers may break or parts get into the food. May be you know of some unbreakable or metal detectable ones on the market. Thanks Tracy.
