Maybe Ewan, yourself and I could meet up for a chat about this.
I have various scripts and odds and ends that I used to use for "this sort of thing" TM
which although may be a bit stale now may have something in them that you could
rip-out/off. The intention of these things was to effectively give them a UI (but not exactly
as you'd define one).
