There is a motion correction sequence (mocoMEMPRAGE) that is available at least on the few Siemens Trio scanners I've worked on. You can find specs for it on the Freesurfer wiki I believe. Images look fantastic.
If that sequence isn't available, you'll probably have to acquire more than one image. Additionally, foam pads around the head, a strip of tape across the forehead, and a short session in a mock scanner really helps to reduce motion in children.
I am unsure what you can do if you have already collected all your data. You may have to discard the bad datasets.

Subject: [SPM] Pediatric MPRAGE Motion Correction
Hello all,
So I am working with structural images of kids but unfortunately these cohorts move a lot so my structural MPRAGE images have ringing motion due to its movement. Is there a way to correct this motion in the structural images? If so, what would you recommend me doing ?
thanks in advance,
Rodrigo
