Dear SPM users,
If you use a Mac as your primary work machine, please read on.
I am pleased to announce a MAJOR update to DTITK Quick Look Plugin. This plugin, for people who have not used it before, is designed to enable an instant orthographic view of volumetric images in the Analyze or NIfTI formats (compressed or uncompressed). As a result, it delivers a UNIQUE volumetric image browsing experience that supports the RAPID viewing through a large amount of imaging data. This should be of considerable value to
- colleagues who conduct quality-assurance assessment of fMRI and/or diffusion MRI data, as well as
- the ones who conduct imaging studies of large population samples and need to assess the quality of spatial normalization.
The new version (2.2.1) delivers a set of new features that significantly strengthen the core objectives of the plugin. The specific enhancements, illustrated in the attached screenshot, include
1) a much improved support for image orientation, so that one now can customize the plugin to view their images either in the NEUROLOGICAL convention (default), or in the RADIOLOGICAL convention, or as stored on disk;
2) thanks to this enhanced orientation support, the orthographic views with accurate anatomical labels determined from the NIfTI header information;
3) a revamped information panel with more and better organized information about your image.
Finally, you can download the new release and read about more minor updates in the past years from:

Enjoy the plugin.
