This one-day workshop is designed for researchers undertaking quantitative research on sensitive topics. It will provide comprehensive and practical information on meeting the unique challenges of this type of research. We will cover issues that arise throughout the project life course, including choosing the right study design, designing a questionnaire & participant materials/information, applying for ethical approval, and training the interviewers. There will be interactive sessions through the day which will enable participants to put the theory into practice.
Fees: £30 for UK registered postgraduate students; £60 for staff at UK academic institutions, ESRC funded researchers and registered charity organisations; £220 for all other participants. All fees include event materials, lunch, morning and afternoon tea. They do not include travel and accommodation costs.
