Call for Papers

January 6-8, 2014
Santiago, Chile
http://www.bafi.cl

Presentation

During the last decade, the disciplines of Data Mining and Operations
Research have increasingly come closer to each other. As a consequence
the terms "Business Analytics" and "Intelligent Optimization" are used
to refer to the applications of quantitative and analytical
techniques, seeking to improve existing methods or to solve complex
problems in areas such as finance and marketing, as well as in a wide
range of other industry challenges.

The conference on Business Analytics in Finance and Industry, BAFI
2014 is aimed to bring together researchers and practitioners to
present their recent developments and to identify future challenges in
this novel combination of research areas. For this purpose, we are
looking for original contributions on topics related to Business

methodological developments in Business Analytics and Intelligent

conference will focus on Business Analytics in Finance and Industry.
