Hope I can use my position as moderator to encourage more support for this petition as the issue is relevant to many diaspora communities whose health is linked to their countries of origin and their relationships, and who work hard here to try and sustain a society "back home" that may be seriously broken....

Barclays have now responded, saying that they have no choice but to stop this service. We know this isn’t true. At the very least they should be giving an extension to the deadline so that we can find a sustainable solution, rather than rush the closure and risk financial instability.
We need to keep pushing. We only have three days left to tell Barclays that they are making a mistake with their decision to close the service.
I need you to help me grow this petition so that they have no option but to stop, reconsider and ensure those affected will be supported through the transition.
As Mo said, cutting this service "will impact all the major aid organisations operating in the region, including the Mo Farah Foundation, which rely on these businesses for paying their staff and running their programmes."
