Doing what it says on the tin? 10 years celebration of health librarianship: past, present and future.
Tuesday 12th November 2013 at the Clinical Sciences Library, University Hospital, Coventry CV2 2DX
Yes, believe it or not, we are fast approaching our 10th Anniversary of delivering Library and Knowledge Services from the 'new' Clinical Sciences Building here at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust. As 'tin' is the gift that marks a 10th anniversary we thought we'd use it to reflect on our decade of service to the NHS.
As part of our celebration week we have organised a networking event day. We're sure that you, like us, will have strived to meet your strategic aims and objectives to maintain and develop services. But have we actually been able to deliver what we sought to? Is our past a relevant learning tool for our future? And what is the future?
We have two keynote speakers, Dr Andrew Booth and Dr Alison Brettle, to prompt reflection and inspire future strategy. The Health Libraries Group, represented by Helene Gorring and Gary Birkenhead, will be opening the afternoon proceedings.
