Hello All
I’m seeking your help.
At London College of Fashion Library we have one room which can be booked by students for group work/presentations. We currently use a paper based diary booking system which works okay but is time consuming for staff, students have to be present in the library to book and we are trying to move towards more paperless systems.
I’ve done some preliminary investigations via Twitter and found that some universities use software such as LibCal (Springshare) and Lorensbergs whilst others use Outlook, Googledocs and Excel.
I’d like to know what system you use at the moment (including paper based) and the pros and cons of that system.
Please also let me know if the system you have allows students to self book.
I’m happy to collate all responses and report back to the list.
Many thanks
Louise Johnston
