Hello,
You need to modify the line reading:
FSLDIR=y/fsl
to
FSLDIR=/usr/local/fsl
and then resource the .bash_profile.
To answer your other question, the fsl course data is not included with
the main FSL distribution ( due to its size ) and can be downloaded from:
http://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fslcourse/
