Dear Colleagues,
An interesting application of dance!
Last week, my colleague Julie Hulme, who is the HEA's Lead for Psychology attended a launch event for a British Psychological Society (BPS) funded project, 'Dancing statistics'. The project has produced four videos which illustrate statistical threshold concepts through the medium of dance. The project team was led by a psychologist, Lucy Irving (Middlesex University), with help from Andy Field (Univ. of Sussex). Each video is just a few minutes long, and is fully self-explanatory. They are free to view and download from the BPS YouTube channel here: http://ow.ly/pf7ta
More information about the project can be found here:

Kind regards
Paul
