I trust that someone - not me - can take on organising seminars at a new
venue.

Subject: Black & Asian history seminars, possible new venue
Hi all,
I have started making inquiries at MayDay Rooms:
http://maydayrooms.org/
This is new project with premises in Central London (Fleet Street).
One of their initial projects was around the Anti-University of London,
which as some of you probably know was set up after the Dialectics of
Liberation Congress.
The A-U was one of the first places that "Black Power" was discussed in the
UK with Obi Egbuna and CLR James being involved.
Their initial response was very positive, and they would like to know more
details. i.e.
1) How often?
2) How many people?
3) What time, day of the week?
The venue is in a building which has just been renovated, but unfortunately
does not have wheelchair accessibility.
I am happy to follow this up if there is consensus on this. Also if people
would like to see the venue (the Old Birmingham Post Offices) this could be
arranged for next Friday afternoon.
all the best
Fabian
